We are seeking a talented Estimator to maintain the highest standards of excellence. The primary focus of this role is to collect and analyse data in order to provide accurate and timely estimations of labour quantities, materials/parts, sublets and timeframes to internal and external customers. 

Reporting directly to our Parts and Warehouse Lead, you will integrate with the Auto Electrical and Mechanical workshop teams, creating a well rounded fulfilling role. 

About the role:

• You will be responsible for preparing comprehensive quotations that encompass labour, parts, and all items required by various company departments.
• Accurately source and validate parts information to ensure precise quotations and timely ordering within established deadlines.
• Collaborate with the Workshop Supervisor and Leading Hand to verify and apply estimated labour hours for each job within the quotations.
• Manage and maintain the organisation of parts shelving, ensuring all required components are easily accessible for scheduled tasks from Monday to Friday. 
• Engage with department managers and other key personnel to address specific quotation requirements.

About you: 

• Demonstrated expertise in automotive parts and a solid understanding of industry practices.
• Proven ability to excel in a fast-paced environment requiring swift decision-making, adaptability, and the management of multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and experience with various databases.
• Meticulous attention to detail with strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• A collaborative team player, capable of working effectively with colleagues across different departments.
